Suite of animated gifs for The Mind Lab social media channels.

The Mind Lab needed a set of animated stickers to encompass the wide range of topics, including graduation, sustainability, leadership, innovation, and te ao Māori. In order for the stickers to feel consistent with The Mind Lab brand, brand elements were used as framing devices, and brand colours and gradients formed a limited palette for the artworks.

A total of 21 artworks were concepted, illustrated and animated. The process began on iPad in Procreate—sketches and rough animations were produced as a starting point, before moving on to illustrate all frame by frame elements. Once all frames were exported, the process moved to Adobe After Effects, where the animations were pieced together with vector elements. The final GIFs were dispatched to The Mind Lab to be splashed across their Instagram stories.
